Has anyone on this board done it or worked with someone who has? I'm currently an ADA at a NYC DA's office and I'm starting to think about my exit options. I've been here less than 5 years, have a few trials under my belt and have presented a large number of cases to the Grand Jury.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Lateral from DA's office?
Lateral where? Is there something specific you want to do, or are you just interested in what the options are?
There are USAOs that hire ADAs, depending on the hiring policies in the district (and the kinds of experience you've had. Presenting cases to the GJ isn't a big deal in federal court, unless you mean running investigations and presenting testimony before the GH).
