How/whether to include job you just started on your resume

Post by Meisterstuck12345 » Sat Jan 17, 2015 7:52 pm

I'm a 4-year dual degree student with 2 1L summers. I'm about to send out some more applications for summer-2015 jobs, and I just started an externship with a federal district court judge. I've been on the job one day and am wondering whether I should include the externship in my resume or just discuss it in my cover letter? If I include it in my resume, how should I describe it? Just list the one assignment I've been given thus far, or write what I anticipate doing?
