When to switch firms?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jan 09, 2015 1:08 am

Hey folks. I have two plus years at a midlaw firm in a major market and am beginning to think about transitioning. I'd like to hear other about other people's experiences, particularly why you left and what you left for.

Some brief background for context: my firm has reasonable hours (1800 annual target). However, pay is below market with no sign of improvement, the quality of incoming work is deteriorating and associate morale is quickly falling. I'm also concerned about being pigeonholed (the work is with a specific industry).

Stories and words of wisdom appreciated. Thx.
