DECHERT - really nice LLBean Zip-up fleece. Similar (but nicer) than the cadwalader one.

Clifford Chance
- Halloween: a small box of brownies.
- Winter holiday: a big box full of popcorns from the Hampton Popcorns Co. I actually like the popcorns from this company but would never have bought them myself (too expensive), so I'm pretty psyched
But a kindle? Really?
.... I almost regret choosing CC over Schulte. But oh well.

I'm a big fan of the branded bowl mug. I wouldn't mind 5 more.Anonymous User wrote:Current Jenner associate. The cheap branded tchotchkes will continue through 2L, 3L, and into your first couple of years. I am not sure if they ever stop. I will leave it to you to decide if this is a pro or a con of working there.Anonymous User wrote:Jenner post-offer: a bunch of branded chotchkies that broke in the mail. But there was a nice pen and some fancy salted chocolate fudge from a fancy chocolatier that was delicious.
Holidays: a branded fleece pullover.

I think the Dechert one is better in terms of quality (LL Bean is usually pretty good) and usefulness (jacket > vest), but the embroidered LLP completely ruins it. That means you really can't wear it anywhere without facing social judgment. At least with the Cadawalader one most people will have no idea you're repping your law firm

Someone post a picture of Weil's jacket - it might win here because the logo is real subtle (small tiny green Weil patch on the back of the sweater).

Cadwalader vest guy here.
The vest has a retail value of $37.98
The LL Bean fleece has that beat at $49.95
So yeah as far as actual value it's looking like I should hit up Dechert at 3L OCI

Went to the Dechert DC holiday party on Friday night. Super nice. Partners and associates alike were incredibly friendly.

Where do they have it in DC? The Philly one is at the Four Seasons and is super nice (though apparently a step down from the pre-recession days when they rented out the Philadelphia Museum of Art.)Anonymous User wrote:Went to the Dechert DC holiday party on Friday night. Not gonna lie, it's one of my favorite things in the universe. With current usage rates, I'll be needing a new one every winter.North wrote:Wow, I mean we know the English know how to be prestigious so no surprises, but that blanket looks really nice

Yeah having to go to an office Christmas party before you even work there sounds absolutely terrible. If a firm doesn't invite you, it counts as a gift.
