Can you provide your honest opinion????? Resume Advice
Do you think it is worth noting on a resume that "summer position" was extended throughout entire school year due to strong/stellar performance? Or, not?
Thanks!
Thanks!

just make your employment dates reflect it and say something like "continued work during time as full time student."Anonymous User wrote:Do you think it is worth noting on a resume that "summer position" was extended throughout entire school year due to strong/stellar performance? Or, not?

But if your performance was stellar, ask your supervisor if s/he would mind serving as a reference in the future, always do it now so you don't have to send them an awkward email after you haven't spoken for 12 months.

Yes. I might put this on a resume. I've seen it done before, especially with promotions. If you don't put it on the resume, make sure during the interview you state that the position was originally slated to end in the summer, but they enjoyed your work and wanted you to stay on. Also drop this fact (subtly) during networking events w/ other lawyers. It says something when they want to keep you aboard longer than expected.Anonymous User wrote:Do you think it is worth noting on a resume that "summer position" was extended throughout entire school year due to strong/stellar performance?
