Re: Nj firms 2014
based on my own experience and others', they are usually very fast on making offers...maybe there are offers that have not been accepted and eventually will be rejected...keep up hopes!Anonymous User wrote:anything new on lowenstein?

FYI, when I interviewed with them I didn't hear back until November so you should be prepared to wait. Also, be warned they occasionally no offer summers. Actually most NJ firms do.Anonymous User wrote:CB w/ day pitney first week of September. How long do they take to extend offers?

I have a Lowenstein skype interview next week that is 3 30 minute sessions each with a different attorney. Is this a screener or is it some type of skype callback? Also anyone who interviewed with them have any advice?

that's a bit strange. id def think that is a callback, but they flew me out there from a far place so maybe they're just out of money? i also haven't received a response yet in ~2 weeks so...
found them fairly laid back. got asked to explain things more in depth than other firms but not behavior (ie note and write-on topic). i would not stress about it too much.

Re: Nj firms 2014
sounds like a callback. definitely read the bios of your interviewers and try to make some connection. they like people being proactive and have clear career goals. I had one question from the hiring attorney that if you don't get an offer from a law firm, what would you do? He said he asked almost everyone that question. I had the interview on Friday and got the offer Mon.Anonymous User wrote:I have a Lowenstein skype interview next week that is 3 30 minute sessions each with a different attorney. Also is the nalp on bressler right? 2 out of 7 got OFFERS in 2013??? Seems ridiculous.
Any info on no offers of the 2014 classes?

lowenstein is def weird with interviews this year. not a typical screener --> in office cb --> offer/decline from personal experience.

had cb with lowenstein last week. wondering if anyone who recently interviewed with them heard anything from them.
Seems like they were usually pretty quick but not this year?
