CB-->Hiring Committee Meeting--> ???
Had a CB on Monday, was told hiring committee gets together on Wednesdays. Silence since the CB... Should I take this as a ding? Would I have already heard back if it was an offer? Too soon to tell/offer possible by next week?

Depends. Mind saying which firm? If others who interviewed with the same firm have or haven't heard back yet, you might be able to gauge where you stand. Otherwise its pure speculation.

Considering that I just rec'd a rejection on the same day the hiring committee met.... I would say no news is closer to good news.
ETA: which was this Wednesday. CB was Monday 8/18 - SF
