Had Ropes CB 8/20. Emailed the recruitment contact this evening. Received a pretty quick email rejection in response. He mentioned that a letter should be arriving soon. So I would assume that if you had a CB there before the 21st and haven't heard anything, you can expect a rejection letter in the next few days.

Might you be willing to say whether you're a BC student and, if so, whether the recruitment contact is a certain J.D.? I also had my CB on the morning of 8/20 and expect that I'm a ding-in-the-making.

Any movement over at Bingham McCutchen? Thoughts on how their gloomy prognosis might be effecting this recruitment cycle?

I am not a BC student. In addition, I subsequently received an email rejection from the legal recruiting coordinator, so it's unclear whether this is what the other partner was referring to, or if I will also be receiving a rejection in the mail.

Sounded like the hiring committee met late last week and gave offers/dings for CBs from the past two weeks.

Anyone heard from WilmerHale for CBs last week?

Choate is having their offer dinner next week. I would think that means offers are out and you may not hear back for a while.

Lots of good people at Mintz but they're not the most responsive lot. The firm's Legal Recruiting Coordinator does not answer her phone or respond to emails. She's only been with Mintz since April 2014 and it's her first recruiting season, so maybe she deserves to be cut some slack ...
