Do firms care if you take a bar review course online only?

Postby Anonymous User » Mon Feb 17, 2014 1:29 pm

Has anyone whose BigLaw firm paid for their bar review course ever experienced pushback for taking the online only version of a course? I feel like I'd learn better that way, on my own time, and have spoken to plenty of people who have passed taking the online only course. Do firms notice/care at all?

The one I'm considering has a specific option for that. It doesn't seem to lower the price at all, so maybe I should just reserve a seat for a class anyway?

Bias that the structured environment is better? Guess I'm overthinking it. Just wanted to check. Thanks.

Don't you get access to the online stuff if you register for an in class? Just register and never show up, you aren't paying anyway.

Just pass the bar -- they don't care how you do it.
