Does this count as an externship interview?
This may be a stupid question, but I'm not sure if this counts as an interview or not. I sent an application packet to a judge across the country and his clerk called me with questions about my resume and asked for references. She then asked if I would be in town some time soon to come down to the courthouse. I offered to go down in person if the judge preferred but since then have received no answer. Was I interviewed? Should I follow up?

Just follow up. Say that you're available to meet with the judge at anytime and that you'd like to a schedule a meeting.
