I know that this will sound incredibly superficial to some of you, but I hope that you do leave genuine feedback, since I don't know who else to ask. Career services and professors sugarcoat everything to the point that I can't really trust them anymore.
Like I said, I received my grades and did reasonably well (A-, A-, B+). However, I've been wanting to practice in DC Biglaw even before law school. Please tell me, what are my chances? Everyone I've been talking to here talk about how incredibly difficult the DC market is, especially at the top where I'd really like to be (Covington, Arnold&Porter, Akin, etc.)
Should I just give up on DC? Or do I still have a reasonable chance?
You really should wait until your next semester's grades are out to worry about this.

UVA has four graded classes first term, so you are at Michigan, a determination which is at least marginally important given that they have weaker placement in DC.
At a 3.6~ from Michigan you are probably not competitive for those firms' DC offices without some kind of compelling diversity or softs.

Michigan lists the firms GPA qualifications for OCI

It's hard to say how competitive you are though because the data is from previous years before they raised the median...

Those are really good grades. You might not be in the running for Covington, but you can get something in DC if you want it and you hold that A- avg next semester.
Congrats!
