I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve been lurking here. It’s reassuring to see that I’m not alone. I haven’t heard anything since the initial offer and returning the OF-306 about a month ago.Anonymous User wrote:as long as we are all in the same boat I'm okay with it...are we?Anonymous User wrote:Another week and still no final offer or next step?

I also haven't heard anything, so we're all in the same frustrating boat. I'm assuming that, because March class is starting soon, us May people are really far on the back burner now.Anonymous User wrote:I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve been lurking here. I’m a long time lurker here, first time poster. I’m also in the May class, waiting for the final offer. Has anyone told their current employer that they are leaving? I am not able to tell my current boss because I want that final offer in hand, and we are about two months away from the start date. I want to be able to wrap up all my current cases and give them enough time to figure that out but I’ve kept mum because I don’t feel comfortable saying anything until I get that firm offer.
Sorry for the vent. This board has been a reassurance through this whole process. I was a 12/14 as well so while I haven’t posted until now, I’ve been hyperventilating with all of you.

March hire here! Do you guys know exactly where we need to arrive on March 19th? I don’t know if I’ve missed it but I don’t see clear instructions on where we will meet at the USPTO for the first time at 8:30am.

Understandable. I haven’t given notice yet. Mostly because it’s so far out, but also waiting on the final offer to come through.Anonymous User wrote:I’m a long time lurker here, first time poster. Have any other May class members received their final offers yet? I am still waiting and I am a little worried about the amount of time I will have to find a place to live and move.

Nope, still waiting. I think we will probably hear in the next couple of weeks. It is cutting it close to find housing and plan a move, especially if you live on the other side of the country.Anonymous User wrote:Have any other May class members received their final offers yet? Fingers crossed we all find out this week!

I haven't heard anything either. I did hear that HR is moving uncharacteristically slow with us, but I'm less optimistic about hearing anything this week with the impending snowstorm and March class' onboarding this week. I agree with the housing concerns--whether it was a smart move or not remains to be seen, but I already took a risk and signed a lease to get out ahead of this. It's annoying that we have to even weigh out these risks to begin with.Anonymous User wrote:Have any other May class members received their final offers yet? We received our tentative calls around the end of the first week for Jan class, right? Maybe we'll hear near the end of this week/early next week

I haven't heard either. I sent Sheryl an email 2 weeks ago, to which she never replied and I called her a couple hours ago at the prompting of my would be PTO manager. This is cutting it a bit close, huh?

Just got my final offer as well! I thought I had read somewhere about additional security clearance that had to be done besides the OF-306 we already did (I think it was an SF-85?). Was that a mistake or will that come later?

I was wondering the same thing.... I thought we had to do an E-QIP security clearance online within 30 days of the start date.Anonymous User wrote:Just got my final offer as well! I think they email that separately right around that 30 day point before our start date.Anonymous User wrote:I was wondering the same thing.... I know it's a casual work environment but I'm assuming we wear suits to the first day/week?

I'm going to go on the more formal side of business casual, but I think suit is too formal.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
