Just curious -- to those who received interview invites. When did you submit your writing sample?

I submitted the writing sample a day before the deadline.

Does anyone know if the USPTO now conducts multiple interviews for a single candidate or if they just make the determination based on one interview. I heard that in the past they used to conduct up to three interviews

Did you receive a notification you weren't moving forward or is it more if you didn't receive an interview date yet you shouldn't expect one?

Maybe there is still hope. From past postings on the thread, it seems as though interview offers come a bit staggered. I believe one range that was indicated included someone getting an offer to interview a week after interviews were initially being requested. I would keep the hope on, and stay positive

Thanks for the hope! I just meant above that I didnt receive an invite. Just silence...But maybe therea still a very small chance they are still sending invites. Doubtful, but maybe.

I got mine too! Thanks for everyone's support today. I was down in the dumps, but I did get an interview so I'm super pumped now for all of us.

My interview is in the last week of August in Virginia. Does anyone know if the USPTO reimburses out-of-state interviewees for travel expenses?

Don't lose hope. They release it in waves. And interviews are over course of next month.

Congrats to everyone who received an interview so far. I submitted my written statement 7/28 and was offered an interview yesterday (8/7) with interview in exactly 2 weeks. I'm traveling from out of state so if anyone has tips on hotels near the PTO building please comment. Good luck everyone.
