Nothing yet. I think they were making decisions by the end of this week, but I could be wrong. They're my top choice, so I hope I hear something soon.
Heard some secondhand info that some offers for Weil NYC are out. Anyone else hear anything?

Nope :-( I was told they were only taking one 1L each from Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Penn, and maybe Yale, as well as one local school. Any idea on which schools have heard and how they were informed?
Offers are out. I know someone at one of the NYC schools with an offer. I think they got a call.

So I'm guessing the rest of us who haven't heard are awaiting a rejection? Re: Weil NY

Having done a couple of CB's so far (and many, many interviews during undergrad), here's my main advice:

Be able to speak intelligently about anything on your resume, particularly most recent work experience
Have at least 3 intelligent questions to ask that show you've done some research (i.e. don't ask "so what kinda law stuff does your firm do?")
Make sure you've rehearsed the "Why do you want to work for our firm" answer
Exude confidence, have good body posture / eye contact, do not appear nervous (even if you are)

If you can do those things, I don't think any CB will be too over your head.
I'll add, make sure your hands are not sweaty when you shake their hands. If you happen to somehow be in the room first, stand up when your interviewers enter and sit when they do. Always stand if your interviewers are leaving. If you have a panel interview, make sure to look at everyone (but don't bounce eye contact between them too fast - this isn't ping pong). Be nice to everyone you meet from the moment you walk through the door - don't forget to thank security as they process you and reception as they call your interviewer/the recruiting coordinator. Try and be as relaxed as you can while still being professional, and most importantly - be yourself! Interviewers hate people acting fake and can smell it from a mile away.

Heard rumors that Paul Hastings (multiple) in socal made some moves this week
could you elaborate a bit on the rumors? Got a grade request a couple weeks ago and that was it
To elaborate: Paul Hastings made offers in both LA and OC

Regarding gibson OC, they're only hiring through their diversity program.
has anyone heard from gibson OC...non-diversity?

I've found that it's best to set facebook to just not show most posts to law school friends/acquaintances. So many simple things are deemed obnoxious. Over the years prior to law school many people have been like "yay! I got a job!" in their statuses, but suddenly it is unacceptable once one enters law school. Why can't people just be happy for others and move on?

+11111

I don't think it's at all obnoxious. TLS has a weird set of rules of what's obnoxious and what's not (and it only applies to law students). I noticed that IRL that the only law students who care about this kind of stuff are people who I know are on TLS.

Prior to law school the stakes are much lower and people aren't competing with each other for the same work. There are some people still looking for 1L summer jobs - unpaid - and if you go around announcing that you have a 1L SA, which is a unicorn in many cases, how do you think that makes people feel in this hyper competitive environment? This isn't really a TLS thing at all.

Personally, I don't care or pay attention to what other people are doing which is why I think I've had a mostly anxiety-free law school experience (except right around finals). But I can understand why that's not the norm.

At this point, if I applied in mid-Jan, and haven't heard anything in regards to a screener, let alone a CB, should I give up the ghost?

I have nothing. To clarify, I've had four screeners (two from OCI, two from mailings) and 3/4 have already told me no. Radio silence or dings from everything else.
