3L--working during bar prep, is it worth it?

Post by ZyzzBrah » Thu Nov 28, 2013 1:04 pm

3L here with a clerkship that starts in August. I applied for an internship with the OAG office, but had already taken an offer before hearing back from the OAG. Here's the issue:

-I would love to work at the OAG post clerkship
-The person I spoke with told me to call them back (gave me cell number) if I wanted to clerk during the summer before my clerkship starts
-hiring att'y said, "we've got a couple clerks of judge x working for us now" (they seemed oddly interested in what I was doing after graduation)

Does this sound like the person is just saying "we hire people during the summer" or are they saying "if you interested in working here long term clerk for us first"

Any info about the hiring practices of OAG offices would be helpful too
