School-year Externships

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Sep 29, 2013 10:24 pm

I'm a 2L with a current fall externship. Didn't work at all during 1L year, but have 9 years of WE before law school (6 of which were at a small law firm). Have a 2L SA lined up, but have no extracurricular activities (no journal, no moot court, no trial team, etc). Should I find somewhere to extern again come spring, so as to boost up my resume in case I get no-offered after next summer?

Definitely do it. I did 2 when i ws in LS and loved them. Even if you dont grt school credit. They can be ways to make great connections. I wish i did more. I did a full time one for a judge and absolutely loved it.
