Help Picking Firm V-26 vs V-37

Choosing between a V-37 and a v-26. Interested in Corporate. Thoughts.....?

37 is a prime number, so it depends how you feel about that. 26 is even, which is nice, but it's 2x13 and 13 is unlucky.

See if you can use your offers as leverage and hustle for a V63.

If not, I like V8 juice, so I'd go with 26 if I were you because the 6 almost looks like an 8.

Just be careful about this:

Don't post crap, bro. Prime numbers are TTT.

The fact of the matter is that you need to do your homework and calculate out the preftige in order to properly compare Vault firms. So, Clifford Chance, which just happens to be 26 on this year's Vault list, has a preftige value of 6.607. Meanwhile, Orrick, which just happens to be 37 this year, has a preftige value of 6.109. If you calculate out the percentage, we can see that this means Orrick only has 92% of the preftige of Clifford Chance. Since we know that A- begins at 92%, do you really want to be at the preftige equivalent of an A-? Wouldn't you want that A+?

OP here: Didn't want to out the firms. Its not those exact numbers but in that range.

OP, if you're serious, you need to give us the firms. The vault ranking only measures "prestige" as perceived by random associates who happened to pick up the phone the day the survey was taking place.

If all you care about is prestige, go to the higher ranked firm, that's all that vault measures. But please also think hard about the choice you are making - prestige isn't everything, and outside v5 it's value becomes increasingly more questionable.

If you want to know about culture/work/location/support/etc. you need to give us the firms or else we can't help.

You're still missing the point. If literally all we have to go off of is the approximate rankings of the firms, there is zero useful advice you can get. Offer up the firm names and more about what you are looking for, or you'll continue to get silly answers based in numerology.
