Which firm is best in your view?
Please note I am not concerned about Weil's recent layoff history.

You should be, considering the importance of the choice.

Paul Weiss is a NY litigation powerhouse. STB has a rotation system that will have you shifting around to different areas within the "litigation" umbrella (which really seemed to be anything not corporate). Aside from the layoffs, Weil is only band 2 in litigation in NY so it's not in the same league.

And one who believes that a one band difference on chambers will have the slightest impact on the associate's experience and work.
