Follow-up after CBs

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:38 pm

So I have done several callbacks but have heard back from none of them (my earliest callback was almost two weeks ago). I heard people getting dings/offers from those places that I interviewed with so I suppose I am on the mysterious hold list?

My question is: should I follow up with those firms? I don't really have any new information but I am not sure if I should write to tell them that I am still interested in the position.

Also, if I do follow up, should I send the email to the recruiting attorney or one of my interviewers?

Any input would be appreciated!

Don't try to read the tea leaves of others having heard back (or not). There's really no need to follow up, the firm knows you want to work there and won't forget about you. You can if you'd like, but it's not necessary.

The only reason you should ever follow-up with them is if you have received an offer from another firm and your deadline to accept that offer is approaching. But that's just my opinion.

How close does the deadline need to be?

Interviewed 22nd, heard of offers on the 30th. Currently have 2.5 weeks left on next best offer.
