I know Babst has done at least 2 large call back days. Not sure if they have extended any offers at this point though.

How long was CB -> offer for these firms? Also has anyone been offered at K&L Gates?
I got mine the day after for both. Take this with a grain of salt tho. I got both offers in the summer. And i'm kinda like a unicorn. URM with good grades T14 from Pittsburgh who wants to go back to Pittsburgh. Not too many of us out there like that.
Chill bro. There's more ppl that fit this description than you think.
No theres not.

I'm this anon from above. JD offer this morning (about a month later), still no news from RS. Hiring Partner said it was a rolling process but that they preferred to wait until they had most of the CBs done before giving offers.

had JD callback this afternoon, and they were pretty clear I would know within a week. Interesting you got it after a month, I guess I won't hold them to their word

I think the reason was that I was in town so early after my summer gig ended. They told me when I interviewed that it was significantly before most other candidates. Anyway, good luck!

For those of you who are familiar with both, any thoughts on Jones Day vs. K&L Gates? The culture, life, anything?

Post CB dings received from both Jones Day and K&L Gates, officially shutting me out of Western PA for this summer.

Also waiting on Reed Smith about offer/ding, had my callback a while ago. Thought I would heard by now. Also waiting on other Pgh firms I did callbacks with relatively early in the cycle. Any news of offers from any Pgh firms would cool!

Had a K&L callback a while ago and thought the place was odd. Anyone else get that vibe?

Odd how? Nerdy, maybe a little, but I thought everyone seemed friendly.

Eh, maybe you are right. Maybe it was more nerdy than anything else. Everyone was friendly and the partners made it seem like I would work there for a long time and wouldn't face the typical forced attrition.

Bump. Any news?

I have heard K&L and Reed Smith have filled their classes.

What about the smaller firms?
Cohen? Buchanon? Dickie? Thorpe? Babst? Any I am missing?
