4 CB's so far. 1 rejection which I thought I killed, silence from the other 3 that I did this week.... depressing.

yeah i'm not sure that's quite what this thread is for. It's not "how many callbacks have you had and how many rejections have you gotten?" it's "X firm rejected me. boo, they have a stupid name anyway and their partners smell weird"

I've done a little over half of my CBs so far: 1 rejection (reach), 2 very likely rejections, and 1 that I should hear from probably around tomorrow.

This whole process has been horrible. Anticipating a rejection from a target firm that I've long hoped to work at has been terrible. I have some CBs left, but I don't know much about those firms and am not that excited about working at any of them.

Cooley (LLP),

Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to tell my law school friends I "got rejected from Cooley"? Come ON.

(I really did want to work there :( )

Rejected at DPW but I didn't want to go there anyway. The people I met at the callback were the least interesting people I've ever met.

Debefaux Pimpleton LLP,

As if I would have worked in your pretentious office anyway.

Dear Fried Frank,

You must have thought my JD makes me overqualified to work at a hotdog stand.

Can I have one with relish and one with sauer kraut ?

NY, but I only had a screener. That was enough for both sides to know we're not meant to be together.

Kasowitz, the minute I walked into your interview room, I knew I wouldn't like you. To be honest, I only used you to practice my interviewing skills for another firm and to fill that boring four hour break which otherwise would have consisted of me twiddling my thumbs.

Also, considering that you used your "summer intern" to send my rejection email, I really don't want to work for you.

Riker Danzig? I met with them on Tuesday, how fast did you hear back from them? (I'm about ready to post here also!)

Dear Fredrikson & Byron,

Thank you for sending me a rejection email that CC'ed, instead of BCC'ed, all of the other students you were rejecting as well. At least I can see that I'm not alone. The absence of a salutation was the icing on the cake.

Sincerely,
Someone who knows proper email etiquette

Dear DPW Menlo Park,

After getting rejected, I actually looked up Menlo Park. Thank you for saving me.
