No. Had an in office screener a while ago and was told I would hear back really fast. Others were dinged, but no word yet for me. How about you?
Same boat as you. In-office screener with one associate and silence since then.

Are there things by email or snail mail....all I did was a resume drop

Not at all. They're simply a little pressed for time because of Labor Day and Jewish holidays, which basically make a whole week off right in the middle of recruiting. [Source: Skadden people at one of above-mentioned dinners.]

I was just told that they send out rejections via snail mail.

They told me that the hiring committee meets weekly, and would be reviewing callbacks from last week/earlier, and that this week's callbacks would be reviewed next week.

Doesn't seem to be one. Like any other firm the longer you're waiting the worse your odds are. That said I know someone who got an offer over a week after their callback.

Does time of week matter? I.E. Thurs/Fri less likely to hear back quickly than Mon/Tues?

No idea. It was one of the end-of-week mass interviews though, for what it's worth.
