OP here again. I've heard MoFo CBs went out yesterday (word of mouth; I didn't get one )

Keep your chin up, OP. It's a long process, and you could still get one later from MoFo.

I'm a Boalt 3L with great grades (top 15%) and typical indicia of success (e.g. LR), but I'm trying to make a jump from PI AND relocate from the Bay as a 3L. There aren't many opportunities. So, you're in a far better place than me. Stay positive, and have faith. You're awesome and you'll land something great.

Also heard from a friend that Sidley SF issued some CB.

I've heard of MoFo SV cb's.

So, I'm aware that CA firms move slower than NY firms, but if I haven't heard anything yet is this a sign that I'm striking out???

No, I don't think so. I didn't hear from one Monday firm until yesterday and I don't expect to hear from most Thursday firms until maybe next week. I think firms that turn around in 24 hours are the exception, not the rule. A lot of firms appear not to have had any movement at all.

Do all the offices of a firm give cb's around the same time?

Well, EIW is over. I've been dinged from a handful of firms and have zero callbacks as of this evening. I can feel my aspirations slipping through my fingers. I think I'll spend my weekend drinking that feeling away.

3L here. Don't lose hope just yet. It's just too early to give up on callbacks right now. Also keep in mind that Boalt's EIW is earlier than many California schools.
