Did you hear back from the screener?
Not yet, but the interview was very recent, so I'm not worried yet.

Fast for Pepper just means they plan on making decisions in early September instead of late September. It's not like they're moving NYC firm fast.

Heard rumors Dechert is trying to move most of their operations to NYC (I think Vault lists them as being headquartered in NYC now), and Ballard is downsizing their office space. In terms of prestige or whatever, I think they're pretty much equal though.
This is more or less accurate with regard to Dechert. Within the Philly market, though, it has a great reputation among peer firms.
