Most firms didn't move much slower at all during Penn's OCI. Maybe they felt like they needed to keep up with NYC or they'd lose out on too many students, and maybe it's different at the other schools in the region.
Are you talking about callbacks or offers? I know there were callbacks but have not heard of offers yet from Pepper, Blank, Dechert or ML.
Sorry I just meant CB's. No idea about offers yet.
They're moving pretty fast with offers as well, at least for Penn students. I received an offer from a Philly firm 3 business days after my CB (I would rather not say which firm at this point).

Any Penn people gotten MLB rejections? Haven't heard anything, and trying to figure out if they're just slow or if I'm on one of those mythical CB waitlists.

MLB Philly rejection email today. Blank hiring committee isn't meeting for a while, or so they told me at my cb.

To the penn kid with an offer, can you say if it wasn't pepper?

Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear that, but thanks. I'll probably get my MLB rejection tomorrow though. I think OCI has made me go crazy.

I didn't do a screener with them, but went straight to a CB after sending in my resume. They asked me to pick a date between Sept. 9 and 20 to meet with four attorneys.

I already had a CB from Pepper, I submitted my resume directly to them and they let me skip the screener. I havent received an offer or rejection yet

Had a screener with Pepper recently and the interviewer said they plan on moving FAST this year, both with CBs and offers. Didn't get any more specific than that, though.
