I accepted my offer last week but am still waiting on an email with the paperwork. I'm still showing up as a "finalist" on the website; are you?

I'm still showing up as a finalist, but I've received independent confirmation (in the form of an email) that my acceptance has been acknowledged. I've also received and sent back in the E-Quip and Formal Offer Investigation Form. Now that I've sent in this form, I'm waiting for the email to start my electronic SF-86.

Deanna Willis just posted potentially good news for NSD finalists. The division was apparently authorized to hire three additional Trial Attorneys.

My division (non-immigration) posted finalists last week, and began making offers (according to this forum) two days later. However, I received an offer call almost a week after finalists were posted and well after others had apparently gotten offers. So for those still waiting on calls, the moral of the story is don't give up hope because time has passed since finalists were posted, or because you hear that others have gotten offers.

As far as I can tell, we've heard of only one ENRD offer thus far. Has anyone else received an offer?

I'm in the same boat (verbally accepted an offer, and status shows as "offer accepted").

Nice! Mine still reads as "finalist," unfortunately. I'm sure it'll change soon.

I received an ENRD offer on a different day than the first offer that was posted on here.

Me again. I received my SF-86 initiation email today.

Merry Christmas!

Has anyone heard from BIA? Are finalists in the same holding pattern as EOIR with reference checks, etc. or does anyone know of any offers from EOIR-BIA? Thank you.

Has anyone else not received the formal offer letter and FBI fingerprint sheet?

I haven't, although I did initiate my SF-86.

Btw, does anyone know when/how our GS level for pay scale purposes is determined? I'm curious to know whether we will have an opportunity to negotiate the level, such as by demonstrating that a prior qualification warrants a bump up.

That's good to know. My assumption is that you'll be given an opportunity to provide information showing how your prior qualifications warrant a bump.

Which Division are you entering?

It's based on years of experience. I'm not sure there's really much to negotiate. (The DOJ honors program website has info - it breaks down by 1) JD = GS-11 step 1 2) JD + 1 year of clerkship/graduate study/fellowship = GS-12 step 1; 3) JD + 2+ years clerkship/grad study/fellowship = GS-13 step 1, at discretion of hiring component).

Rather quiet in here of late. Hope everyone's well.

Just wanted to confirm: to the best of my knowledge, DOJ doesn't offer any assistance with bar prep course fees. Has anyone heard different? I'm otherwise leaning on BarBri to get their public interest discount.

Question: So at the end of November, I was notified that I was a SLIP finalist for the civil oil. I know this is an HP page, but does anyone generally know how long it takes to find out whether you get an offer or not? Also, does anyone have a general idea of how many people they designate a finalist in proportion to how many offers they final give?

Thanks
