Cornell AJF 2013 (plus OCI, Boston/DC fairs)

Post by hephaestus » Mon Jul 29, 2013 3:47 pm

With AJF a week away, I thought we could have a thread to discuss/share information as far as when firms give CBs/dings/offers and any other relevant info. As other threads have done, feel free to sign your anonymous posts so that the conversation is relatively coherent.
It would also be helpful to say if you mass mailed and if you had any success from it.

Update: master list of CBs and dings. A few of these are from people I know, hence why some firms do not appear in the thread. PM me if I missed anything.

I received an invitation today for a screener with a firm I bid decently high but missed in the lottery. I didn't reach out to them after missing them. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what this means?

Unlikely, most transfers have pulled the trigger already. There will be more day of at AJF though.

A couple have gone out. It seemed like most firms were meeting after interviews ended to figure out who to call. Hope they don't all make their calls tonight though...

Did anyone get the "recruiting hotline" business card from Willkie? At the end of the screener, interviewer gave me her business card as well as a business card that just says "recruiting hotline" and has a phone number on it. She said I could call and arrange to talk to more associates, but it didn't sound like she was offering me a callback. Is this to gauge my interest?

This year's thread certainly seems quieter than last year. We need a requisite gunner to step-up ITT.
