Question about Legal Employment

My undergraduate degree will be in Finance (not from a top university), and I have a 177 LSAT score and am working on an acceptance to a Top 14 school. If by chance you have a finance or business background and are matriculated as a law student say at a Top 14 school, is it possible to get hired for any position while in Law School at Goldman Sachs or an Investment bank?

Are you asking if you can apply to jobs while in law school? I mean, its not like anyone is going to stop you, and you aren't forced to stay if you're offered a position. You could always drop out.

That said, don't go to law school if you want to do finance or business work. Doesn't make any sense.

This sounds like a tremendously bad idea (not trying to be a jerk). Most (I think all?) T14 schools do not have a part time program, and the bulge bracket banks do not typically offer part time positions. Even if they did, they would expect you to work your ass off. I don't see how that would be feasible your first year of law school.

Logistics aside, it seems that you are uncommitted between law and ibanking. Why don't you attempt to gain full time employment in banking and see how it goes before you attempt law school?

Goldman posts jobs on simplicity at CCN. Someone in my class is working for them for their 1L summer. Yes.
