Re: Hobbies/Interests section - REALLY?
I try to lift weights for an hour every morning ~5 before work/school.
Will I be seen as a tool if I put "weightlifting" on a resume?
I'm not exactly jacked, but I'm pretty fit and you can tell I exercise by my build. I think it can lead to conversations about dedication, setting small goals in order to reach a big one, etc.

IMO as long as you balance it with other things, it'd be ok. I mean, "weightlifting, crossfit, bodybuilding, and interval training" would be bad, but I think "weightlifting, cooking, sailing, golf, photography and classic car restoration" would be fine.Anonymous User wrote:I try to lift weights for an hour every morning ~5 before work/school.

Re: Hobbies/Interests section - REALLY?
I have weight training as a personal interest on my resume. I love lifting weights, and I probably know more about it than most people so I'm confident in my ability to have a conversation about weight training/nutrition/supplementation/etc if it comes up in an interview. If anyone in an interview mentions it skeptically, just cock an eyebrow and say "Do you even lift bro?"Anonymous User wrote:I try to lift weights for an hour every morning ~5 before work/school.
