Yep, they're being released today, but they haven't announced the time. On some past thread (last year's EIW thread, I think), I read that they were released around noon-1pm on the past.

Fingers crossed! Good luck.

EIW schedules just came out. I got 6 slots. Is that on the low end?

im not sure. I figured we would receive 15, but this wasn't based on anything in particular. I got 11.

Based on last year's thread, yeah that's on the low end. But you'll have plenty of opportunities to pick up more during open sign-up.

I got 18, but 7 of those are IP only.

Damn. I though I had played the numbers game pretty well for the most part.

Thanks. Yeah I'll have to do my best to take advantage of that.

Stupid question: Does bid order matter at all when submitting to the "Request for Resumes"? I assume not, and it's just a limitation of symplicity that they need to be ordered, but anyone know for sure?

18, but 16(!) are IP only. At least I'll be able to focus on non-IP firms in open sign up.

Edit: figured I'd put this info in my first post, to make it easier for people reading through the thread in the future.

Approximate class rank: just below top 1/3
Journal: International Law
Moot Court, Beaudry, etc.: no
IP backbround: Yes
Significant work experience: Yes/Kinda
Years out of undergrad: 1
Prestigious undergrad: Top 20 US News (lol)
Other relevant factors (e.g., URM, LBGT, age/prior life experience, military): no
Target markets: DC, NY, Texas
Type of work sought: Patent Prosecution, IP/general litigation
Self-assessed interviewing ability: good
Screeners or callbacks prior to EIW from mass-mailing: 1
Screeners received for EIW: 18
Callbacks received from EIW screeners: 3 (as of day 2)
Offers received: 1 (still waiting on other callbacks)

Wow! Just wondering, are you going to Loyola PLIP this week? How did you handle OCI bids for firms that you did and didn't get Loyola preselects for? Curious because I struggled forever with that.

PLIP conflicted with my summer employment, so I'm not going. Good luck with it though.

21(all nyc) 1-21 before the system kicked me out. No IP and all big nyc firms with big classes. I got lucky but I think average is like 12.

I'm this Anon and thanks for the congratulations. Also, if anyone is willing to trade for the following firms: Kramer Levin (NYC), Riker ( NJ) Kelley Dyre(NY), I would be interested and have a lot of flexibility to trade. I have pretty much every NYC firm with a GPA between 3.2-3.45.

I've heard from upper classman we can coordinate a switch by dropping at an odd time at say 2 a.m. and then we each pick up the one that the other dropped.

Blackjack --

are you saying you want those firms or that you are willing to get rid of those firms?

I want those firms. And would be willingly to see what someone else offers but id wait until add drop opens on the 5th but just throwing some ideas out there early. What is the general consensus on trading?

I second this question. "Staff, Georgetown Journal of X, 2013?" Is that too bold? I don't want to do anything improper.

Example from Hoya Headlines:

Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC
Juris Doctor, expected May 2014
GPA: 3.62
Journal: Georgetown Immigration Law Journal

If you all have questions about journal stuff or EIW, I'm happy to answer and I know there are a few other GULC people who can chime in here. Otherwise, I'll stay out of your thread :) Good luck!
