Sounds like she might not have returned her evaluation forms yet. Anyone else interview with EM at Shearman and hear back already?

All of EM"s callbacks went out for now sorry. Pretty good source on the inside.

Thanks for letting us know... what do you mean for now? What kind of sources do you have on the inside and how?? Sorry for the third degree, just a little curious.

Shearman like all firms has a couple of waitlist candidates and rather not go farther but I would shocked if anyone else gets a callback in the next couple of weeks.

Now that EIW is over would you mind sharing your secret? That is if you've got one other than very impressive stats.

Mostly going in relaxed and confident, being personable etc. I also anticipated potential problems with my background and found "answers" to work into the discussion, even when not asked (e.g. I worked in nonprofits pre-law school, so I headed off questions about why I'm going to a firm by framing descriptions of my past work in a law firm sort of way). I hit up family/friends who have done this recently or done legal recruiting and practiced.

All I know is they could stand me in 20 minute doses =)

I know someone who heard from Paul Weiss NY this afternoon. Gibson Dunn invited people to dinner on the spot last week, and then called those people back. Not sure if they also gave CBs to anyone not invited to the dinner.
