So... does it sound to everyone else like trading is not allowed this year? Only for trading time slots of the same firm..Wtf..

Still looking to trade for Cooley, palo alto. Have a lot that I would be willing to give up. Let me know! Until CPP makes it clear whether or not trades will be allowed....

No, we are allowed to trade. Re-check the email it says it. Also if you look people have started posting trade requests.

The signup for today started way before 5pm. I picked up something around 3, and I was about to pick up Skadden Boston and another one and they disappeared in front of me.

Sounds like a beneficial glitch in your favor? I definitely was not able to select any until 5 PM on the dot.

No, we are allowed to trade. Re-check the email it says it. Also if you look people have started posting trade requests.

This sounds to me like you can only trade times, not different firm. Am I reading this wrong?

You're just reading it wrong. I've already had a friend give me a firm I didn't even bid cuz they didn't want it and it looked interesting to me. CP&P put it right in with no problem. And speaking of trading, if anyone has Baker Botts DC or White & Case DC and wants NY in return, feel free to pm me.

4 so far, but they were from pre-OCI mailing. Should we really expect to hear from today's interviewers already? I thought even the NY firms usually take a day or two.

All quiet here. Mainly NY and a few Philly. I thought NY usually takes a day or two and haven't heard much about what to expect in terms of timing from Philly.

I was the one initially asking - wasn't sure what the time-frame is for NY firms. So consensus seems to be at least a day or two, gotcha.

Damn. Paul Weiss was my favorite too. Does that mean if we didn't get one today it's not happening? I also got a Cleary transcript request. Not sure what it means.
