S&C NY has a 90% plus CB to offer ratio. If you did not hear either during the interview OR immediately the next day, you are most likely being rejected.

Have people heard S&C rejections from screeners? I'm not holding out too much hope, but I found it a bit odd that they were one of the few NY firms I didn't get an email from.

Any ideas/advice on what it could mean that a partner that interviewed me on a cb last week called yesterday afternoon asking me to call back, then I called back and left a message with his secretary but haven't heard from him since. I can't imagine he'd call to reject me but would assume he would get back quicker if it was an offer.

Pretty sure Paul, Weiss hiring committee meets on Fridays. I have heard of offers on Friday and Monday

+1 to silence, week and a half or so now. Felt great about my CB though...

Dentons Chi call back ratio is not great. With only a few spots to fill, they still do like 20+ callbacks. But it seems like they do rolling offers/rejects, because they can't hand too many offers out, so just sit tight and continue expressing interest.
