Applied to the semjf job fair and noticed that some of the names of the interviewers are being posted. they aren't an alum but work in practice area that I'm interested in. is it acceptable to email them for an informational interview or would that be seen as too pushy/aggressive in a sense since they the actual interviewer for the job fair?

edit: and if i do email them do I mention that i applied to semjf and saw that they would be conducting the interview?

You can see that you've been selected to interview or you can see that firms are listing the attorneys that will be doing interviews at the fair?

I am interested in what people think about this as well. Also, if I have to be out of town on the day of the job fair, can I email firm and ask if I can have an early or later screener?

Contact info is fair game to send to. If you're going to be out of town, you should definitely ask for a screener earlier or later. It's better to have some rapport going in than going in cold IMO. It's also a chance to ask about details so you have something to tailor a copy if your résumé to.
