Seems fine, assuming you have the build for that slim of a suit.

No. If it fits well, go for it.

To be 100% safe, wear a solid navy or charcoal. You can never go wrong with that (as long as if fits well).

That being said, a conservative tic/check probably won't even get a second thought by the people interviewing you.

Just don't get a jacket that short. Wow.

Bingo. Jacket is WAY too short. And I don't think the one in the picture was just altered that way; that's the way the suit is cut. It's out.

I have that suit and wore it during OCI and now wear it to work often at my NY biglaw SA. It's fine.

Is tic on this suit ok or too obvious for OCI/callbacks? See second image: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/boss-black- ... Sportcoats.

That's fine.

If you think that suit is too trendy, I'd hate to see what you think is staid.

I though it looked fine until you pointed this out. Now that I notice, it looks terrible.

All of the suits ITT have contemporary, relatively fashion-forward cuts. Assuming you are skinny, they're fine and probably won't be noticeable (which is what you're trying to avoid at OCI). If you're at all stocky though, I would avoid suits with cuts like these.
