Will working as a judicial intern for 2L summer instead of at a firm look bad on my resume?

I'm at a t2, bottom of my class. Full scholarship. I'm not sure what area of law I'm interested in.

"t2, bottom of your class" will look far worse than anything else you could put on your resume.

Great anonymous use.

It shouldn't hurt, but is there anything else you can do that might give you a chance for full-time work? (e.g., law firm).
I tried and interviewed with firms but nothing panned out.

I would take the internship and then hustle your ass off, see if the judge you work for has connections (they will) and try to get something through that . . . your credentials simply aren't going to get you a firm job, so you network and make people like you enough to hire you regardless of grades. Judicial internship is a pretty good way of doing that.

And, not to be mean but . . . what other options do you think you'll have?
