I think the amount of "research" that career services is encouraging students to do is a little overkill. You should have a general sense of the kind of work the firm does and whether that fits with your interests - you should also know whether the person sitting across from you is corporate / litigation - beyond that, I don't think you really need to know anything specific about the firm. Just relax, go in there, and have a conversation. Not exactly rocket science.

Interview to rejection in less than ten hours at S&C. Talk about efficiency, no wonder they're so dominant.

"well, good luck"
to me at the end of my interview that they was just playing with me..

Anyone else have more updates? From what I've heard, Gibson had an invitation dinner last night and so did Norton Rose Fulbright. Oddly, so did King and Spalding, but they don't interview till today.

K&S always has dinner the night before interviews.

They only invited a couple people though. Does that mean that those of us not invited are already at a disadvantage before the interview?

That kind of sucks about Latham DC; I was kind of hoping for a callback there.

Callback interview w/ Latham DC. Phone call this morning. They didn't do all the calls yesterday so you're still in it, anon.

I know of people who have been given callbacks and offered without being invited to dinner.
