Firms really turned off/off by a political affiliation?

Postby Anonymous User » Mon Jun 10, 2013 11:57 pm

Hey smart people.

My resume screams pretty liberal/conservative in a certain direction. I don't really care about the politics of the people I work with, but are any firms known to favor or disfavor people of certain political persuasions? Just trying to be informed.

Jenner and Block: lib?

Wiley Rein: con?

Shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't making bidding decisions along these lines.

Depends. For 99% of firms, if it scream liberal, don't worry.

If it screams conservative, you might want to tone it down unless you're aiming at GDC DC or something similar.

Despite having high profile conservatives, that office is overwhelmingly liberal. But yeah, your resume is your resume. Unless you have that you boycott abortion centers or something, it really won't make any difference.
