Exactly where is the name of the screener listed? I clicked on the "Review" button and all I see is the location, duration, etc.

This will be added later. Some firms won't know who they are sending yet, and there can always be last minute changes.

I'm not sure, I don't think its very common for a reschedule/add/delete to occur.I know it didn't happen once to me. What you will want to check the morning of the interviews though is the interviewers listed. Those change without notification.

Bummer. For SFIPLA, I got an email that an interview had been added. So clearly Symplicity has the functionality to do it.

I'd never leave it until the last minute to check, but still, it'd suck to spend several days researching and then log back in to find your slate of firms had entirely changed.

Check the emails they send you every morning. I had an interview get moved up a few hours and missed it totally. Sucked.

On this particular firm it has the following listed:

EMPLOYER:
INTERVIEW DATE*:
INTERVIEW TIME*:
INTERVIEW ROOM:
INTERVIEWER:
RESUME:

These posts in past years really helped me out, so hopefully this helps future classes-

19 Interviews, extremely happy with the results.

Got 17 out of the first 20 - DC/NY V100s from semi-selective to very-selective - the only V20 firm I missed in the first 20 bids was Gibson Dunn: bid in the late teens, 20 interview slots, and multiple cities so I knew it was a long shot, but I just didn't want to bid them any higher.

2 elite boutiques in the early 20s

DF's advice earlier in this thread is on point. Pleasantly surprised how late I got a few DC firms.

Is open sign-ups first-come, first-serve or is it a new lottery each time?

Free for all, but you only get two each day.

Thanks. I assume that applies to tomorrow's open sign-up period as well?

Ugh. So I don't really believe that I did this, and I feel quite dumb, but I accidentally bid a different city of a firm than the one I meant to. I did get the interview, and the market is the the other one I was targeting, but it doesn't have quite as many attorneys in the areas I'm interested in as the original office. It's also a firm that doesn't allow multiple interviews. Do I cancel the one and try and get another one for the other? I just be happy with what I have?

there really aren't many chances to just get another interview. Stick with what you got.

Welp, I picked up 2 (one in Silicon Valley, so that's cool) more in the open signups today.

Does anyone know how the open sign-up process will work to allocate the slots freed by cancellations?

Is there a ranked wait-list?; a lottery?; or first come first served?

For firms we didn't get through OCI-
Career services said to send e-mails with resume/cover letter/transcript now mentioning we bid on them and didn't get an interview. People here have mentioned dropping off resumes at hospitality suites/hustling for interviews during OCI. Do we just do both? Send the stuff to the firm now, and then drop of resumes again during OCI if we haven't heard back yet?

Re: screeners-
I know that I don't have an offer until I have an offer, not to wait around waiting to hear, just keep hustling, etc. But out of curiosity/for peace of mind- will we hear back from every screener either way (CB or Ding)? I did the 1L Spring OCI for interview practice and never heard back. Is this just because we both knew there was no way I was getting that job or is this normal for 2L OCI as well?

Re: open sign-ups-
I got a few extra interviews (at firms I bid on but didn't get) through open sign-ups on Saturday. Are people already canceling interviews? Just curious where these open slots came from since there were clearly people who bid on them and had room in their OCI schedule but didn't get an interview originally. For open sign-ups during OCI, how many are there that we're allowed to grab 2 per day? I realize that doesn't mean it's likely that we'll actually get 2 per day, but it suggests a larger number of cancellations than I would have expected.

No, you won't always hear back.
