Yeah, this is becoming Groundhog's day. Does anyone have an update on the budget situation? I've been checking the news lately and haven't heard anything else come up.

I was happy getting that because I just assumed that character and fit was gave the green light. I screwed some job dates up on my app and they were like "lol, confirm this ADAP or we'll end you." Good to know that they answer responses promptly...

I thought Forum/Pavilion was the same thing? Maybe same campus but different buildings.

My materials seemed to indicate that they divide us up according to whether we are using a computer or handwriting the essays.

Yes I don't know. I am using my laptop and I have two friends at the Pavilion and another friend at the forum. I think we are all on the same campus but like you said in different buildings.

I'm at the Italian American History Museum. But I'm not using my laptop, so I'm guessing that's why. By the way, any news on when we should hear anything from the office?

No news. I assume at some point before November we'll have to fill out a ton of paperwork, but maybe that's after we get bar results.

Does anyone have an up-to-date frequency chart for the MEE and IEE? I can only find one that goes up to the July 2009 exam, and I'm curious about what they've been testing on for the past three years.

Its Over! I hope everyone survived. Remember Illinois has something like an 89% pass rate! Congrats on completing the exam.

The CCSAO website claims that they require top 50%. Not sure if they strictly follow those guidelines.

Better question: did anyone go to Ohio State? If so, I hate you already.

Does anyone have a good book or outline on Illinois criminal procedure that I can use?

CCSAO maintains a pretty comprehensive Illinois Search & Seizure outline. If you know any ASAs you could probably get one of them to email it to you, but you'll have access to it once you start.

Anyone heard anything yet from the office? I have only received the initial offer and have not heard anything since. I hope the bar went well for everyone.

I haven't heard anything as well, and I've been trying to follow the budget situation as well while we wait for the bar results.

Thanks for the reply. I am doing the same. I don't think the budget is going to be a problem because the County really needs more prosecutors. When are most people moving to Chicago? I think bar results will be out by Mid October.

I'm probably going to start looking at the end of this month, and then make the move at the beginning of October.

No nothing yet. I think we might not hear anything until post bar results. Anyone know when the bar swearing in ceremony is? I think last year it was during the first week of November.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
