V100. No start date yet. Moving expenses already paid + Barbri. Stipend to go out in June. Anxious (and excited) for a start date!

Still radio silence from Ropes & Gray, a little ridiculous in my opinion (although I know we aren't the only firm still waiting).

I would really lower your expectations for when you're getting your Ropes start date. They didn't give us any info until end of June last year!

I thought some people already got theirs? I have a friend going to a Cali office that had 3 options and already chose.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I note that it ended before the three months in which many more firms may have answered this question. Can anyone provide more data points that aren't already in the thread?

Anything in August or September aside from what was already mentioned in the thread (Cahill, an unnamed V50 and unnamed V100)? Do any firms even do August given July 30-31 bar? I'm going to a V100 that did October this year and I think last -- hoping they move it up.

Some do mid/late-September. I'd say August is doubtful.

Never heard of a firm doing it in August before. Had a friend start in early Sept. My firm (and 80% of everyone I know) started in early to mid October. But, keep in mind you'll probably have to wait a few weeks even after starting before getting the first paycheck.
