So, mid-career figures are worthless due to self-selection? They are consistent with that UVA longitudinal study. At least we have some information about it - otherwise most of us are shooting in the dark.

Plus, these people graduated a long time ago.I wonder what the reporting rate is....

It's worthless because payscale.com isn't a resource for big firm attorneys. We all know exactly how much every firm pays, people don't use the website, and as a result the data set there is laughable.
