I was actually surprised how many places talked about themselves instead of asking me questions. They seemed to be there to sell their firm to me. I'm not sure if that was a good or bad thing, but I honestly felt at a few points like it was a waste of our time.fishfry111 wrote:As for interviews, what's the general feeling? I'm glad I didn't get any nightmare creeners grilling me. Only one asked a "why their firm" questions, and I think I answred okay, but couldn't really differentiate...........after all, except for the Lit or Pros slant, one firm is as good as another. Any of you guys run into a roadblock?
One interview had two people grilling me almost the entire time on my undergraduate degrees. They were asking what specific courses and research I did, even asking what specific things were taught in courses from freshman year up until senior year. It wasn't bad but it was a departure from all of the others that were more relaxed.
