What were your thoughts/likes/dislikes of the summer if you dont mind?
Good social events, sat in on depositions of significant witnesses in big cases, sat in on team meetings, sat in on meet and confers with opposing counsel, generally friendly people to work with. Not much I can say I disliked about the summer.

I'm more interested in the assertion that Kirkland pays more.

PH salary is lockstep, but the bonuses are credited.

New callback this week:

Kilpatrick (Bay Area)
Alston Bird ding my snail mail.

Passed on the Knobbe, Kilpatrick, Kenyon CB.
Update:

King and Spalding NY -- Ding
Covington -- snail mail Ding

Completed 3 CB:
Offer - 1 (not gonna say until I reject or accept)
Probably on another offer
Yeah, so I quit interviewing the dings are slowly coming in. McDermott ding after the interview but I didn't like them anyway. That office is stale.

But I got offers from Jones Day and Finnegan (SA). Took the Finnegan one. I negotiated it up and Jones Day could not match. Too bad, I liked Jones Day.

Hey folks, this might be a dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyways. (anon for stupid question)

With clerkship hiring pushing to be sooner and sooner, if one has a clerkship lined up (either 1 or 2 years), should s/he still do PILP or OCI as a 3L? (hoping for a job after clerkship?)
