I have a post-clerkship interview coming up in a couple weeks. My first one, and my first time interviewing for a "big boy" law job outside of the structured confines of OCI. Prior to clerking, I worked for a firm for a year.
Got the interview from a cold resume drop at a place that wasn't advertising any positions.
Are there any major differences from OCI interviews/callbacks I should anticipate?
How does it work logistically? For example, OCI callbacks often lead to an on the spot decision, or at least a decision within 24-48 hours. Are post-clerkship/lateral interviews similar?
Thanks all.
