A few days ago, I was offered a judicial internship by a judge. I still have to send thank you letters to chambers right? Well, I don't remember the name of the clerk......what do I do?

ohhhh really??! you're only supposed to send a thank you if you didn't get the offer? i wasn't sure if it would be rude to not send one

I recommend sending a brief note (a) thanking Judge and/or clerk(s) for their time and (b) saying that you look forward to working for them in [month/season].

if there is a gap btw interview to hire. if not, no need.

I heard that if you don't send thank you letter, the judge will make you his/her bitch for the summer.

Bt what if I don't know the name of the clerk?

So...in all seriousness ...what is the consensus here? I shouldn't send a thank you letter? Or I should send a thank you letter without writing the clerk's name? Or I should try to find out the name somehow?

I have interned for a judge and never sent a thank you note after the interview or after I got an offer. I did give thank you notes after I was done, though.

This. I received my current spring judicial internship as I was leaving the courthouse (so nearly on the spot). I didn't even CONSIDER sending a thank you card. If you want to send one, go for it I guess, but don't worry about it if you don't.
