Appellate in Dallas?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Feb 12, 2013 9:05 pm

Anyone have a pulse on which Dallas firms have the strongest reputation for appeals in Texas? And does that the fact that the Big Three Texas firms have HQs in Houston mean most of their appellate groups are based out of there?

Big 3 don't have HQs in Dallas. That would be Houston.

Aside from that, check: http://www.chambersandpartners.com/USA/Editorial/71297 ... As a general rule, you're really splitting hairs when you answer the question of "Who's the Best?" Assuming you can just choose what you want (a hell of an assumption, but perhaps relevant to your inquiry), if you can handle their lifestyle sacrifices, the elite boutiques (SG, G&B) have the best reputations for just about any kind of litigation (appellate included). If you'd prefer to bill 2xxx rather than 3xxx, the Big 3 are an obvious choice.

I've heard that HayBoo has a good appellate group doing state-level and 5th Circuit work. They advertise having the largest amount of full-time appellate lawyers of any firm in Texas.
