List of BigLaw Legal Employment for Recent College Graduates

Post by lsataddict » Sat Feb 09, 2013 2:52 pm

I'm looking to create a list of BigLaw/MediumLaw legal jobs for recent college graduates interested in exposure to the law firm experience prior to perusing law school. Most of these jobs are 1-2 year positions. The job titles varies, but the primary titles are paralegal assistant, Jr. paralegal, paralegal clerk, office manager, office assistant, administrative assistant, receptionist, etc. Most of the jobs are secretarial in nature, but they still offer great networking opportunities. Please help contribute to the list below.

Honestly, most large firms hire new paralegals/law clerks every year since the attrition rate is so high (many paralegals only work for a year or two and then go to law school or switch careers). Most of the larger New York firms interview new college grads for paralegal positions every year, for instance. If you're looking for one of these jobs out of undergrad, I would just find a list of the largest law firms in the city you're targeting by size (attorney headcount), go down the list, find a paralegal hiring contact on each firm's website, and send a resume/cover letter.
