strange, maybe they meant to send it to the wrong person? or it's just super impersonal

I'm the guy who contacted LA office from above...still no response =/

Any response from the LA office yet?

got confirmation but nothing else, not holding out much hope

We can't give up hope! Did they at least give you a time frame of when the callbacks will be?

They told me 2 weeks... and that was a week ago. They didn't give you any indication?

Probably a good time for you to follow up, since other offices are pretty far along.

via email

nope, MVPB top 10%, applied very late...so I believe that's a small part of the reason

that, and the personal statement was pretty half-assed

Hey all,

I met Steve Schulman here in LA and had a screening interview then a callback. I have since been rejected and AG's HR person said they wanted to tie up the program by March so it is very likely is they have found their candidate for LA, and hiring for the program in the LA office is done.

Hey guys. Really sorry to hear about the rejection from LA. Was it by e-mail or mail? I still haven't heard from them and I changed my address recently. I had a screener and a phone call, but I haven't heard back ever since. Wondering if they haven't rejected me by snail mail already...

Yes. Last I heard from them was this week and they're taking another 1-2 weeks to decide.

Sorry about that. :( Bummer. But i did hear that you may get considered more strongly if you apply as a 2L or 3L

Do you mind telling when you got the phone call? Or was it by email or snail mail?
