Wow, for a low, low monthly fee he'll let you observe public proceedings? What a deal. I hope this guy gets railed for this.

Oh it gets worse - read on and note that he will split a fee with his slaves if they bring in a case but only "if it settles" which would mean to me that if he has to try the case, the slave gets no fee (which is insane).

Ditto. This person needs to be publicly shamed. Make sure to submit this story to Above The Law! I already did.

Sad thing is I could see this all being a credit card scam off desperate law students... Ask for the CC for that "low monthly fee" and drain away.

There are people desperate enough to do it.
Many schools require an internship to graduate, and the bottom half of a bottom ranked school will be more than enough applicants to justify his time to set up such a program.

I have seen simular programs in the past, mostly for overseas internships or companies that get help to help you locate internships.

Still sucks, but what sucks more is that people need it bad enough to justify it, and no doubt someone out there is sighing with relief that it exists.

Its no more shocking than having to pay a school for the credits earned when they require an internship to graduate but also require you to pay them for the credits awarded (even though all they do is sit back and read your timesheet).

This is no more or less wrong than that.

Oh, hello there Kenneth A. Beck, of Beck & Beck! Are you enjoying all the negative press you're receiving?

Neither does the fact that there is a high chance that that was the shamed attorney himself attempting to deflect criticism.
